Leslie Hartman was raised on Long Island, and currently resides in Jericho. She is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton, where she earned her degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. After working at Harris/Lanier and General Instrument Corporation in Software Engineering, she left the business world to raise a family and to pursue other interests. She has taught nursery school, and worked as a freelance photographer and writer. She is involved in community affairs, and has been the publicity chairperson and an active member of the Jericho School PTA. Leslie currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Jericho Jewish Center, and is a leader of their Social Action Committee. She has been involved in the Rock Can Roll organization since its inception six years ago. She has been called upon to coordinate events, accept awards, and speak on Aimee’s behalf. As a volunteer for Rock Can Roll, Leslie has staffed numerous concerts and collected countless amounts of food. Above all else, Leslie takes pride in her family—her husband Danny, and their daughters Melissa and Julie.
